Planning & Policy Committee

Members have purview over matters of County business in the following: Buildings & Maintenance; Strategic Planning; Public Works; Land Use and Infrastructure Needs; Preserving Agriculture and Conservation; Parks; Drains; Legal Review – Litigaion and Resolutions; Rules and Regulations; Bylaws; Public Relations, Personnel and Administrative Policy Review, Transportation Planning, Roads and Bridges, Interacting with State Legislature; Interacting and Oversight of County Departments; Overseeing the County’s Material Management Activites; and Policy Matters

The Chair shall serve on boards & commissions as state statutes require.

Meeting Notice

Ottawa County Planning and Policy Committee will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Board Room at 10:30 a.m. There are some exceptions to this, which are identified below. Meetings will be held at the Fillmore Street Complex, 12220 Fillmore Street, West Olive, Michigan. Dates as follows:
