The Appointment and Alignment Committee is a committee whose purview is to interview qualified candidates for appointment to County boards and commissions and make recommendations to the Board of Commissioners. The committee will also ensure processes and appointments are aligned with the respective committee bylaws and, where applicable, state statute.
